K&N air filter

are the air filters for the 5.7L and the 3.8L the same size? There are some good deals on ebay for K&N air filters, but most are for the 5.7L and I was wondering if they were the same. Thanks!

I don't believe they would be...but I'm not sure and have been known to be wrong.

Check out K&N's website...that'll show if they are but I have a feeling they aren't.

I should sell my old drop-in...

Check out the holley proshot filters. The flow just the same if not better then k&n and are cleanable as well. They fit better in our cars as well.

How often do you have to clean them?

I clean mine every six months or so and it is still fairly clean. Doesn't take to long. Holley sells a cleaning kit with it.
