Unhappy Jerks when accel at low RPM's?

Hey fellas, I'm new to the message board and figured someone might be able to help me. I've got a 93 Camaro,3.4 V6, and at lower RPM's the car hesitates and jerks. The throttle response seems fine, but something seems to hesitate somewhere between the trans and rear end. Could this be a worn U-Joint? Thanks for any help, have a good one.

you need to check the following:

Ignition timing
Properly operating battery and alternator
Fuel injectors may be clogged
Check for proper fuel pressure.

Well I know it isn't a fuel, spark or timing problem because it would do it with the car not in gear as well. There is a clunking sound underneath when the gas is pushed like something is loose or worn, and after the hesitation that causes the sound and jerking feeling it runs smooth, that is why I felt it had to be something in the driveshaft or u-joint.
