Angry it's baaaack!!!

Well, it started raining like crazy here and all my problems are coming back to haunt me. I was on my way to work this morning and I don't even reach the end of my street and my car starts hesitating, sputtering, and backfiring. I've had this problem ever since I got the car. Every time I take it into the dealer they replace the plugs and wires. It's been doing it occasionally here and there on dry roads, but now that the roads are wet....it's all the time. I had to drive to Martinez tonite and I didn't think I was going to make it home. That's how bad it is. Obviously, something is shorting out or causing an arc somewhere with the water. Has anyone else had symptoms like this before? I'm wondering if it's something besides the plug wires. I looked under the hood when I got home and everything is dry that I can see. My filter is dry, MSD is dry, ECU is dry...???? It's got to be that DAMN #3 wire again!!! I'm just so frustrated right now, I hope it floods tonite and my car gets washed away, or at least the service department at the dealership gets wiped out. AAAAHHH!!! Anyone had any luck with the Accel Extreme 8mm wires? I've also heard that the heat wrap from Summit is pretty good too. Ideas??? Anyone???

Check your opti connections, mine did that when they got corroded, just use a wire brush on em and that should fix it if that's what's wrong...

Opti connections???? He's talking about a 3.8 V6 not an LT1.

I am thinking coils also.

Is it throwing any codes?
Does it run rough at idle?

No codes, no rough idle...It only happens when you accelerate hard. Just driving around town like a "grandma" doesn't cause it to act up. It almost seems like an injector is fouling out or something. It's either not getting enough spark or fuel...that's what it acts like anyways.
