Post Strip Wheels or Paint?

I also posted this in the clean and shine section but thought maybe some of you 3rd gen guys might have some ideas.

I just got a set of the 91/92 RS-Z28 wheels for my 92 RS. They have the factory red paint in the spokes (for lack of a better description) and my car is white. How do I either 1. Strip the paint and clear to polich the wheels or 2. repaint the red so that it will hold up?

If money is no concern to a point, have them sand blasted, then send them to a body shop to have them painted a nice silver to your likings.Did mine like that and came out better than the factor.I did this all myself but have bodyshop and painting experience.I used 5coats o paint and 6 coats of clear always got te thumbs up for a nice job.Or you can tape off all that's not red and repaint it black.Sand the red first and use some primer.good luck
