I need your guys opinion?

ok so i bought a used engine with 50000 miles on it what should i check and replace in the engine before i put it in the car... i really want my car to last along time....so any little thing helps... what do u guys think i should get?

Change spark plugs, wires, serp. belt before you put it in the car. That way it will be easier. Also if you are planning on modding the engine, nows the time to do it. I really cant say much about inspecting it. You really have to take the engine apart to really inspect it. Maybe someone else can offer more info

I agree, plus, it will be a heck of alot easier to change the plugs and wires with the motor outside of the car then inside.
