High Idle and Wierd Hanging RPM
Im not even sure what to call what the car is doing. But I can try to describe it: The problem is that the engine does not come down in RPM between shifts. When I accelerate and then put in the clutch to shift it holds constant RPM for 5ish seconds and then drops. Also the low idle is higher than normal. After about 10 minutes or so of driving the issue goes away, and it drops in RPM immediately... wierd.
I did just do some tune up work before the issue presented itself: new plugs, plug wires, oil change, ran some Sea Foam through the intake, and put some Lucas in the fuel.
Could the Lucas fuel additive be the culprit. For high idle issues I have usually suspected dirty throttle body or injectors, but I woulda thought the sea foam took care of that...
any ideas?

When the engine is cold, the a/f ratio is much richer and the idle is going to be higher. That will also cause the rpm's to sort of hang when you push in the clutch. I work at a dealership and even new cars do that, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
