Horn troubles

The horn button thingy on the right side is way to sensitive, it keeps going off out of no where. Today I hit a bump and it just stuck on till I pressed it again. It's happening more and more, people probably think I'm crazy riden' the horn. So what can I do, how to I fix that.

The right one in additon to the button making the horn go off, the side of the wheel by the button makes it go off, and its very sensitive, you just rub your fingers on it and it goes off. The left side isnt like that, only the button makes it go off on that side.

The button behind the wheel cover is probably out of place. You need to take out the knee panel and is connect the airbag before u open up the steering wheel cover. Don't disconnect the battery because you need to check it while you are fixing it. I hardly recall how it looked like, but I remember it being vertical, facing you, and it was kinda hard to balance it to face the cover. I think I used some tape to make it stay, then put the steering over back over it.

I have a 1997, is it the same? Also you say disconnect the airbag, how do I know which one is the airbag, what wire it is... I very much don't want the airbag to deploy in my face if at all possible.
