I have a 1999 Chevrolet Camaro 3.8l.
Here are the symptoms:

hard starting, takes a few seconds of constant cranking to turn over
spits and sputters occasionally when stopping
when i turned right into a parking lot the engine shutoff, power to radio was on but powersteering was gone with a dead engine and a security light on. i shut it off and it started right up
security light comes on when i put the key in the ignition and wont crank till 3 minutes later when the light goes out


things i have done:
replaced plugs and wires
new starter
new ignition modules
new 02 sensors
oil changed regularly with royal purple and a k&n oil filter
replaced the injectors
an entire fuel rail with fuel pressure regulator
replaced fuel filter
k&n cold air
3 in hi flow cat
slp loud mouth

It has had troublestarting since we bought it. Any ideas? anyone have this problem? i dont want to just start replacing sensors. thanks

 

Have you checked your fuel pressure?
