Question about V6 performance

I want to purchase a 93-97 Camaro with a V6 engine in it. Was wondering if I bought it stock with nothing done to it what steps I could take in making it faster. I have a slim knowledge of cars, but I have a few friends that would be able to perform the work. Any ideas?

V6's make better Daily Drivers than hotrods.

Pick up a V8 it will be cheaper to mod.

If you want real performance the early LT1's don't cost much more than the V6's.

FYI: If you are interested I am selling a 98 V6 Firebird, PM me if you are.

buy a v8. The amount of money you will spend making the v6 as fast as the v8 will almost reach the total cost of the car. Much easier way to go.
