i have a 95 3.4 camaro and i installed headers, high flow cat and and magnaflow cat back. i did this because the old exhaust was pretty shot.

any way when i go WOT the car down shifts and bogs down. when i go 3/4 throttle the car is surprisingly more powerfull.

what are some possible reasons the car is bogging. like i said it is noticeably more powerful at 3/4 throttle.

 

Torque peaks early, around 3500 rpm, so horsepower tapers off in the upper end. The 3.4 stops pulling around 5000 rpm so that's probably why it feels stronger to you down at 3-4000.
