another problem

another problem!!!!
so i lend my 95 to my dad for the weekend...and DISASTER strikes again!!!

he tells me that he was driving home when all of a sudden, the instrument cluster lights go off. i thought that the might have hit the toggle switch, but unfortunately, its not that simple.

i checked my fuse box, and the fuse was blown. i put in a new one, and before it went in completely, it zapped and fried.

now, my brake lights aren't working...during the day or night! what should i do???

***forgot to mention...95 3.4l thanks

Try and keep changing the fuses, I've had a simular problem on my dads Z28 but it wasn't for the lights, the fuses kept frying for a week and finally just out the sky blue, one took and never fried at all, when it finally did go out we replaced it and never had the problem since.

To be safer, make sure your engine's off and disconnect the battery before changing the fuse, maybee that'll keep em from frying.

Hope this helps.
