Question Rear Defogger

Hey guys, i don't know why this is happening, but my rear defogger doesn't seem to be working. I checked the back grid, and there isn't any scratches or breaks in it, so its not that. And it looks like it's trying to work. Like it defogg's about half way inbetween the lines, but then the button shuts off. I was thinking it may be the relay, but there isn't one. Could it just be the switch then? Help me out guys.

check each grid with a multimeter, each grid should read 12v.
