Hi everybody, i'm considering buying an '89 Camaro RS to drive around so I don't have to put quite so many miles on my SS. So my qestion is, are there any "common problems" I should look for on these cars? Anything I should ask the owner about? I've seen several pictures, and it is one of the cleanest looking 3rd gens i've seen. Thanks for any help

 

how mechanically inclined are you? just the fact that the car is 13 years old makes it a gamble. i mean with parts breaking down and all. after 13 years, everything is entitled to break.

 

They leak oil and some of the 90-91's can have clutch problems some times.
