ok i have a few problems. first off the car is hard to start on the first start. cranks over and eventually fires up but sometimes i have to give it some gas for it to stay running or it'll die. once started it'll start right up easy. after its started the rpms bob back and fourth between around 500 rpms and 800 rpms and when its around 500 rpms it vibrates and sounds like its about to die tho it dont. everytime i start it its getting worse and running worse. the car has about 200k miles on it. one last thing is once the car is running when i give it some gas it hesitates really bad for a few seconds like its not getting any fuel and eventually will go tho its not very drivable...any ideas?

 

new update now the rpms are dropping enough that the car does die and its as hard to start as ever will idle after awhile but still not gettin gas or something

 

sounds like a pretty heavy repair job if you have all that going on..if you cant fix it, Sell it for parts and get another dude. lol

 

my '94 camaro is doing the exact same thing =(

 

Check the fuel pressure, ignition module and catalytic converter.

 

The last part about how u said it hesitates to get fuel check ut throttle position sensor , about the hard start clean out the m.a.s. With electrical parts cleaner not brake cleaner or carb.cleaner and clean out ur iac motor .
