3.8 questions?
How much boost will a stock one hold?
Also, how much could I buy one for? (just the 3.8 engine)

9 psi I think. Why get another one if you already have one just put forged parts than jack it up to 15 psi.

I dont know where and how much new so try junkyards. Depending its condition they could charge 1500 or less i think.

10-12psi should be fine, wouldn't try any higher than 14 without forged internals.

Ive seen 3.8 engine/tranny combo go on ebay for $700 and less. If you already have the tranny, I'd look for an auction on a low milage L67 and convert it to the RWD accessories. These engines are cheap.

My friend just bought one with under 100K miles and a rod knock for $150.00. This would be a good option if you have some engine building experience.
