3.4 engine Q's, truck, FWD and camaro.

I have given up on the 2.8L's.
When I go home I am going to track down a 3.4, I think I have one.
I have questions on all the 3.4's...
I have an internal balance fly wheel in the car now.
I wanted to know, if I got a core or non MPIF 3.4 engine if I could get some injectors out of a FWD 3.4 MPFI(or whet ever they call em)would they be a drop in replacement for the 2.8 injectors?
Can i stick the FWD injectors on a 2.8 fuel rail?
How different are the truck 3.4's from the camaro 3.4's, just the block, heads, cam and oiling(not the fuel system)?
Are certain years of the 3.4 better than others?
I can get to lots of junked FWD 3.4's and a wrecked truck or 2 for the parts.
I know all I need to put that 3.4 in place of a 85' 2.8 is the(87'+)fly wheel that I all ready have, injectors and a temp. sencor mod. 99.5% of all that 2.8 stuff will slide, snap, screw and blot on the 3.4 block and heads.

Couple of quick Q's...
Why V6 instead of V8? (and I am willing to accept your reasons...)
(and if you must stick with V6...)Why 3.4L instead of 4.3L?
Just wondering.

I have a Borg Warner T-5 (only for use on V6-60*) on it and if I wanted to put a V8 or 4.3 I would need the engine, a fuel system of some kind, transmission, bell houseing and drive shaft.
I also want to keep it a 5 speed stick shift.
And I all ready have a Iroc Z28 (another 85').
All i need is a working 3.4 core and some injectors to put a 3.4 in place of the 2.8

it all bolts on in RWD 3.4L.

My question is what trucks are you finding 3.4Ls? I know S-series S-10s, and s-15 Blazers had 2.8L but never came with 3.4L. In fact I think the RWD 3.4L was debuted in 1993, right at the end of the production of the older style s-series.

Alot of FWD and RWD stuff in not too interchangable, but the motr like said is a direct drop in.

by the way with a 2.8L-3.4L swap, its direct swap, block for block, jsut need a different flywheel, all old brakets, mounts, tranny and everything else bolt right up.

I considered this swap on my old 85 2.8L, diced to go with a v8 swpa was working in ti and ran out of money and reluctantly had to sell the car.

I have a bunch of sh)t in my walet and I started to dig and I found sale slips from crap I had bought from local junk yards.
I got my phone card and called some of them (they rembered me) and asked around for some 3.1's and 3.4's. And the biggest local dealer said they were going to get a 3.4 in soon that came out of a wrecked truck ("soon" to them is 2 or 3 weeks).
I realy need to know about useing FWD injectors on a camaro intake manifold.
$500 used engine + $300 worth of new injectors = whats the point
