yea, alot of people don't know that, also caddy 4.1,4.5,and 4.9 v8s use the 60* pattern, and all the northstars incarnations are 60* pattern(one bolt is off)
and the 5.3 v8 in next years monte/impala/gran prix uses the 60* pattern

Re: 3.4 to 3.8 swap?

i have a 2 camaros i have a 94 with the 3.4 the lower intake gasket went out and i hate workin on the 3.4. i have a 96 3.8 camaro. and i have a 2nd 3.8 computer, wires, and all belt accy. and i can get a 3.8l motor for $250.

i wanna know if the 3.8l motor will bolt up to the tranny(auto) in the 94?
will the motor mounts on the frame(94) line up for the 3.8l?
is the 3.4l a 60* motor or a 90*?
is the 3.8l a 60* motor or a 90*?
and anything else that would need to bee changed

re-read the first few posts in this thread. I think that'll answer you questions about the tranny bolting up. 3.4 is a 60* motor and 3.8 is a 90*.
