An LSX motor is an LSX motor no matter what car it is in. They all have massive amounts of potential

Actually he's got an LT1

The 319 is off the spray. I don't really want to spray on the dyno, so I don't have numbers on it.

You have no clue about street racing it seems. I've flat stomped every gto i've ever ran...... Hell when all i have was a cai, gutted cat and free mods, i put 2-3 cars on a gto from a dig. I had 2 people with me he didnt have one person. I'm only a bolt on lt1 now with 160k and i can bus one with the quickness.
Come to think of it stock gto's lose to stock srt4's from a roll. Laff at you and your big headed ls1 comments.

A 2004 GTO has 350 horsepower at the flywheel, and weighs roughly 3700 lbs. A 4th gen LT1 car weighs roughly 3400 lbs, and has 275 horsepower stock. With mods listed you're looking at no more than 300 horsepower at the flywheel.
Even without the weight of the extra passengers, the GTO still has a better power to weight ratio.
So you need to ask yourself, could the GTO driver drive? A slow driver can give a car a bad name.

See, you are doing what I like to call "dyno racing". That's why they run the race. I've seen so many instances where cars that put down 40-50 RWHP more than their competitor go down in a race. That's why they run the race and not compare dyno sheets. And besides, it's not all about peak power anyway. For example if you compare dyno sheets from an LS1 to an LT1 you will see that the LT1 has a lot flatter power band then the LS1. It makes closer to peak power longer through the power band then an LS1 does. Same goes for many other cars. I'm not ripping on LS1's , I just used that as an example. Once again, that's why they run the race.
