Yeah at that point its like a boost and juiced ricer trying to keep up with a small block.
We do have to remember its 281ci vs 427ci. Although naturally aspirated the 427 has more HP/CI. I don't want to hear about titanium valves or race port heads, because ford gets DOHC.

that thing has got to be sick with a procharger on it
i seen in motor trend they faced off a stock vette, but had to be a z06 vs viper vs ford gt.
viper had better braking, thats it. gt beat the vette in the 1/4 11.6 vs 11.7 but thats with a supercharger giving it 50 more hp. for twice the price.

The Lingenfelter version is already out. In other words, they've been doing a 427 TT for some time now, as well as MTI and other shops. They took an LS2 block and resleeved it, then put a TT setup on it. "Only" 650 rwhp or so with the LS2 based TT motor. Now they have an LS7 TT motor and it's putting out over 1000 rwhp, and this is in a car that weighs a bit over 3100 lbs
427 TT, 1000+ rwhp

New rules for '05 are no cage for a coupe unless you're 11.49 or quicker.http://www.nhra.com/tech_specs/ETQuickRef.html
Shackleford - I work in commercial nuclear power. My wife hasn't worked in many years, but she's ready to go back and do something just to get out of the house. The cars are essentially the result of College money for kids who decided not to go. See link to my website for some pictures.

Im not totally sure about all tracks but i believe it has to do with age and safety options on the car. cuz theres a 03 evo that runs 11.8's a cobra that runs and 11.7 w/ no cage but then theres an 68 camaro thats at 11.9-12.0 that has a full cage. not sure if the guys in the evo and cobra know the owner of the track but thats what id assume. cuz under 12 it has to be caged here. and im sure if its your first run in the car and you hit under 12's theyd probably kick you out until you got a cage but you still got that first run.
