I never said I was any better lol. If I ever ran Steve, I would have my ET Streets on the back of the car. He wouldn't stand a chance. Street tires and he would do OK in the 1/4, but he'd still lose. Until he runs better than a 13.4 at a TRACK he can't say otherwise. The SS is stock for now so if he's happy sticking with a bone stock LS1 to half track while on drag radials, then good for him. I just got the car...give me a few months. I build/race my cars for me, not to beat a stock GT.

My LS1 is unbeatable as far as you're concerned. I have 300+ passes down the track...trust me, I know where my car is on the food chain. It's just a slow *** stock f-body.

I'd have no problem running you on street tires. You'd lose. I doubt you could **** out a 13.4 and cut a .510-.520 light. Experience would kill you. You talk about modding/racing cars for 16 years. Where are the killer numbers with your mustang?

Why not go to your local track and get some numbers with your insane setup? I know you don't have a roll cage, but they might let you slip by with your high 13s.

Only problem with your Hayabusa theory is I actually own a faster car than you...that, and you'd probably kill yourself on the bike. I'd hate to have that on my conscience. However, your Hayabusa example does demonstrate that you grasp the performance difference between my car and yours. Damn good analogy.

 

9500 in 2003 were built and about 6500 in 2004. we had one guy in the mach1registry that did hit 12.89 stock on his mach. now i dont know anyone whose hit a 12 stock with an ls1 stock... same thing as ive never EVER seen anyone hit less than 13 on a mach 1. i hit 13.1 stock about 3 months after owning the car. it can be done. it depends on the driver. i respect GM but it pisses me off when GM guys dont respect mustangs in the slightest.... were all american muscle fans.... lets leave it at that. and lets remember that the mustang was the first and only surviving pony car!!
