Re: SRT-4 in the hands of a real driver

I've seen LS1's run better than 12.8@104 with a couple of mods. There are bolt on LS1's in the 11's and don't forget Evan smith went 12.8@107 in a bone stock '98 Z28. So with 2 equal drivers LS1's still have the edge. Dont get me wrong I'm getting either a SRT4 or a hemi ram pick up for a winter beater after my T/A is paid off.

2900lbs pulled by 2.4L = 1208lbs per liter

The car isnt light in no way shape or form for a 2.4L motor to pull around
That is just plain ignorant and the crap that ricers believe. It would have merit if the motor was NA...but I guess that turbo does nothing eh?

You took the words out of my mouth. You can't compare liters of a NA motor to a FA motor, and then just compare them to the weight of the car.

A better comparison is engine output vs weight for either case.

Just let em think that like they already are, oh wait that might be the reason we smoke the **** out of them when they think it would happen the other way around
