I have tremendous respec for the LT1/LS1 as i used to have a 95 Z28...but the supercharged 03/14 cobras rule! Mine is the one with the Borla Stingers...my friend has the offroad X pipe and magnaflow

My numbers are 412/383 SAE during a hot humid day
he has a 2.8RR pulley on his SC and 460/490 SAE

I am running mid 12s with mods below and he is high 11s with only difference in MODS being the X pipe and 14PSI vs my 9PSI

Nice numbers on the mysti 04 cobra. Although i think you should be deep in the 11s with your mods unless you live on top of a big *** mountain!

I will never understand why non Camaro people enjoy coming on this board just to stir $hit up. I mean, I have respect for Mustangs too, but I don't go on their boards posting about how bad azz the Camaro is. Come on folks, let's keep kill stories relevant to Camaros. OK...you guys want a kill i will put one on here just so i am not off topic. I have beat numerous LS1s in various stages of modification on the road most of them not being a problem unless they get a huge jump on me and i can't get traction (or i forget to turn off traction control)

I went to the dragstrip last friday and ran against a 2000 ram air transam. I figure they are about 320 from the factory? plus he had full exhaust (headers, offroad y, borla catback). He got me on launch because he was on drag radials and because the cobra IRS wheelhops...so i just eased into it with a 2.22 60'. about 1/2 way down the track seems like he just hit a wall and i walked him by atleast a car (about .75 seconds in the 1/4). I ran a 12.5 and he ran low 13s.

As stated above i have tremendous respect for the LS1/LT1...you have lots of torque down low and the solid rear axle to get off the line.

My friend with the pullied cobra can walk a 2004 Z06. I would like to see the vide of the head/cam LS1 getting walked!!

 

Obviously you don't have any respect comin' on here talkin trash like you've never been beat!! I have a suggestion why don't you take your nice $40,000+ car and crawl back into your den and wait until you see a nice Mustang borad to post on and then come crawling out from that hole in the ground you call a home!!!

I guess I should go over to the cobra board (corral/stangnet) and tell them how my 16k car with car price and mods will blast the crap out of most of them. We could talk about my insurance only being 416 every six months. To bad you dont live in southern colorado I would have to humiliate you, and web host it. 03 owners can have the fastest new car pride for now but chevy will come back, its really saying somthing when a SC v8 beats a NA camaro nice kill bro. Thats about as equal as me racing a stock vette.

That was the gayest video ever. I respect that you have a fast car...I respect all fast cars. However one of these days you will come across a car that will hand you your ***. Go on over to LS1tech and talk some ****. Its not very often you will run into an insanely fast LS1 on the road.....but then again its not very often I have come across a 03 Cobra driver who can drive worth a ****. We had one guy in Lafayette that had an '03 and he had decals on the side of his car that said "508HP"...went to numerous car shows with him and he definatly had some work done to it, yet at the track he couldn't get better than a 13.7 and he was definatly not spinning of the line. Another (not sure of what mods was 13.5's all day long. I suggest you all live by the rule that I do.....no matter how fast you are their is always someone faster, and on a side note I want to be known as a guy with a little faster than stock LS1...not some *** hat that feels the need to blow smoke everywhere. Your cars are fast but not all that fast compared to some that are out there. That is all.

 

hey cobra owner, if GM made the LS1 with a supercharger you'd still be crying the blues jack! just my 2 cents worth.

 

Yah, besides most of the people on this board have cars that can kill a stock 03/04 cobra. Just don't stir crap and get along, or go away.

Nice kill but I will take my low 11 second 94 camaro with 12k into it over your car any day. I have yet to be even tested by a new cobra. They are way too pretty ( in a girly sort of way) to mod in my opinion
