The 03 Cobra can be a wicked machine , but so can a properly designed LT1/LS1.

Please dont jump straight to the kill section with 1 post to show us the rear bumper and exhaust comparison.

Since this is a Camaro board I really dont think 98.9% of the folks would care about the difference in the two mufflers or cat backs on your two cars.

This really belongs in the lounge.......over on stangnet.

Now if you had a video of you beating a GM and aproached the topic with a performance enthusiast view then you would get many congrats and positive replies.

I just find it funny that Ford needed to add a S/C to a 4.6DOHC engine to make 380hp, while GM was able to make 405hp N/A with the push rod LS6. Just think about what a stock S/Ced LS6 would be like in the Z06

 

I also find it funny that GM needs 5.7L's of displacement to achieve 400 horsepower in the LS6 where Ford has a 5L Version of the Modular Found in the Mach 1 and Cobra that makes 400 horsepower.

Would i rather a 5L DOHC motor in my Cobra? Sure but i don't hate having a Built block with a Supercharger.

 

Sort of reminds you of your riceboy excuse as to why your powerful ole' mighty 03 Cobra is only running mid 12's, eh? Kind of like calling the kettle black.

I own a S/C Mustang just like you, however, the fact remains that Cz28 does not give two rats asses about your car because you've proven nothing but that you have exhaust. I've said it once and will say it again ---- whoopty doo.

I agree with NBS4 about the S/C vs displacement arguments being gay. Two companies went to completely diffferent ways.

What did you trap when you went mid 12's against the T/A?

If your not trapping atleast 114-117mph then a heads/cam LT1 will walk all over you, let alone a heads/cam ls1!
