Re: Run in with Mach 1

thats what happened with me at first. at first i wanted the cobra. then i started to research the mach more and more. then i saw avg times of 13.8- 14.0 in Motor Trend/Car & Driver... but then again they know SH*T about cars!!!! Then a lot of people that were owners were nailing 13.1-13.4's so I knew the car was underrated.

Those were ver very close to my times.... 13.18@106mph and r/t of 1.82. We ran very similar.

Love the hood but I think they could have done better with the wheels.

Re: Run in with Mach 1

I agree 100%

That is why I opted for the Black bullitt wheels in 17x9 size.
Makes a Black Mach look awesome.
Maybe I can round up a few pics in a few days.
Not that you GM guys care....lol

Re: Run in with Mach 1

I love my mach because not only does it go fast in a strait line, but the suspension and braking system is excelent as well. I do have a lot of respect for the lt1s and ls1s tho. In the end the extra liter comes in handy when your modding. My friend has a 00 ss, we like to cruise our cars out and we have a mutual respect for each other. The domestics need to unite, where i live there are ricers EVERYWHERE. My buddy and i like to show them what real power is. I can pull on him at lower speeds, but on the freeway (65ish), its pretty evenn until 100, then he starts to walk, by 120 hes leaving me behind.
