All i have to say is I watched my dad beat a 03 cobra in a 1/4 mile street rape ooops i ment race in a 94 LT1 with 4.10s and old nittos.

The cobra was very sexy though, it only had 5000 miles on it

He then challenged me to race for some money
I couldn't do that to him though lol!!!!

 

If all he had was that he beat a horrible cobra driver not the car

I kno, i've seen (was in, actually) a friends stock 93 LT1 auto RUN AWAY from an 02 LS1 6spd (another friend) from a slow roll. it was stupid, didnt make sense, but **** happens.

 

I think my grandmother could have won w/ the cobra...
Talking about a mid 13 second car vs. a what should have been atleast low 12 second car...a wins a win though

Ehhh, I lost to a 99 GT Mustang once lol. It was before the cam & tune. Full bolt on LT1 though. I should have walked him, but spun through all of first, from launch to redline. And through half of 2nd. Car even got a little squirrelly hitting 3rd. As soon as I got traction, his 2 car jump he had on me off the line instantly stopped and if I could have went a full 1/4 mile I probably would have caught him, but hey it happens.

I got beat by a slower car. I admit it. I was outdriven. The Stang runs at 101ish traps.

Sometimes wierd stuff happens. Especialyl on the street. Much better chance of beating someone with a faster car here than at the track.

Good kill though. I wish I coulda seen the Cobra drivers face.

 

Wow, nothing like driver error, I beat a 1000hp 67 ss on the street once due to him killing it at the light lol

Cobra driver was setting up a scam. Good thinkg your ego kept you from running or you'd most likley be out some money.

 

truth be told the only reason why the Cobra lost is because he couldnt hook

As far as him having a chance against me... i looked all through the car engine, interior, every thing it was really nice(blower looked intimidating) and he was a kewl guy, but i would have had him by a mile especially considering i was running DRs and he had the tires that came on the car when it was new

I will say though he made up the two car jump pretty quickly... just not quite quick enough though
