Is that a threat kid? I have been here since the begining. Do you want the boot? Do you understand that? You can disagree without using profanity and or using bold print to make a point.

12.0s using the stock TPI and full wieght? I don't know about that. I agree with you there for the most part. You need rpms and gear to do it. Long runner intake obviously hinders that but you would be suprised how fast you can go(ET wise) using the stock runners and TPI set up. I have been out of TPIS since 98 but maybe cam tech has made it possible.

hahaha

Alot of the guys on the thirdgen.org boards are running TPI cars. I think the fastest N/A car over there right now is Mike Crews 383 TPI, it runs 12.2's or somewhere right around there. I have only heard of one guy getting 300 RWHP from a TPI car, can't remember who it is, can find out though. The great thing about the LTR setup is the god awful tourqe they produce. The fore mentioned 383 TPI car makes 283RWHP(I think, that might not be the exact numbers)but it makes over 400 ft lbs at the back tires, can you imagine what that is at the crank? It's insane. I'll be suprised if my 406 puts down that much tourqe, but I'm just a kid right? What do I know

Glad to see there are some fast F-body's in Maryland.

I've seen a few cars running low 12's with aftermarket LTR's. Most are Vette's but there was a magazine that had a project IROC back in the 90's that ran 12.4's with AFR Heads, TPIS ZZ-9 cam, TPIS Big Mouth Intake, TPIS Big Tube Runners, Ported Plenum, 52 MM TB, Headers and Flowmaster Cat-Back. The factory LTR set-up would be hard pressed to hit 12's. I'm pretty much tapped with my car.

Ok now some of you to do a little more homework before you start downing a third gen. IF you need to know just go to thirdgen.org and look up traxion. He has one of the quickest third gen's there and you will be surprised when you see it because you wouldnt even imagine that he is running what he is. He does not have the original TPI in it anymore but its still a third gen. All it takes is a little intake swap and some tuning and its a whole new game. Not bashing anyone here but look around, there out there. I love the third gen look alot more than the fourth gen and its even better to see the look on their face when they get walked.

Mike 92LX - you can add another to the list:

http://www.mycar.net/mafb/registry/detail.cfm?id=201

That car went high 11's with a 350, a true LTR setup and of course, naturally aspirated. It was even done on a MILD HotCam! He has since added a HSR.
