Listen to this guy, he knows exactly what he's talking about. At 30mph you should be in 1st gear and he will not jump out on you as badly. You probably downshifted to 2nd. That little bit of extra gear helps.

i understand , but really how many LT1s really runn that fast consitently , not many , they are a low 14 high 13 second car , rolll racing they are not that good since the topend sucks anyways.
im not complaining im just saying , im trying to get ued to factory 4 cyls being faster than my car stock , its kinda aggrivating,

Thats why you start in the proper gear first and as it goes upshift it to 3rd or D, this way there is no delay and keep rpms up
