I dont get it...

Ok, so this one kid i just made friends with now...because we have raced soo many times for fun, has a 2001 t/a with just an intake and it an a4. Now heres this, he beat me twice from a dig and i beat him twice from a roll. Now i thought that LT1's were suppose to have better low end then top end and the LS1's were suppose to have better top end then low end. Now, from the dig i got a little excited and still spun my tires (drag radials) after i heated them up still! so he would just pull bout a car and half on me and keep pulling. Both times that happened. Now from a 25 punch, i pull right away and kept on pulling with every shift i had and he faded. The same went for the 40 roll. Just wondering what your guys' thoughts were on these races. I have been told that my car is unusually quick up top though...guess it must be ture then. But i dont like to think of my car as being fast, cuz there is someone out there that will always make you look like a fool for even trying

I dunno man, with your 373s, exhaust, and lowering you're only running 13.9. Maybe you should work on your driving skills. If I'm wrong, which I probably am, correct me.

Just sounds like he's a better driver than you Work on your launches and you'll get him from a dig.

With your LTs and 3.73s I am not suprised at all considering he is a stock a4.

My 97z28 ran a 13.9 @ 100 with a a4 and 2.73 gears. That was bone stock. in FL heat
My 02 Formula ran a 13.2 @ 108 with a M6 and 3.42's with a bad start and a 12.9 @ 108 with a perfect start bone stock. it was a cool night. so i think if both of you work on launching it will be a good race. I still have not had a STOCK LT1 hang with me even with exhaust from a dig or a roll. We have nothing but LT1's around here probably 30 or so mostly stock. and only 20 ls1's mostly stock. So i have had my share of LT1's and even got the chance to race my old car, which is now supercharged and blistered my a$$.

By light do you mean reaction time? If so what does that have to do with your times and trap speeds?

LMO, Its just that when people say they cut a bad light usually they mean they fell asleep at the light.. I.E reaction time. At least I think thats what they are talking about. LOL
