i guess if he then proceded to drive the camaro home not on the trailor then it might not be a trailor queen...

evo should have raced from a stop... would have been a better race

Re: "that" Evo getting worked by a Camaro

Something tells me if there was a vid of a trailered Honda blowing the doors off an F-body there'd be 18 pages of "trailer queen!" posts. There are 9-sec domestics that are actually driven places so it's not impossible to do.

Besides, how much work does it take to make power the way that Camaro does? Get a stripper shell that might weigh 2000 lbs, slap in all the cubes you can buy, beefed enough to handle the spray you're gonna put to it. Finished.

LOL My definition of a trailer queen is a car that's brought for a race, then put right back up on the trailer. used for nothing but racing/bragging rights/looking cool. Not street legal. Never used for driving, only racing, etc.

Being that none of us know that guy, it would be difficult to prove or disprove any of these things.

Re: "that" Evo getting worked by a Camaro

I think a trailer queen is a car that is incapable of running on the road and can only be used for a quick race. If it was used on the road it would overheat or have some other problem. Or, a trailer queen would be incapable of passing inspections because of a serious problem like emissions failure. Just because it's put on a trailer doesn't mean it's a trailer queen. You could put any vehicle on a trailer and drive it from race to race. Even a stock car.

With the reputation that Evo has been getting, the Camaro may have come down from another area or maybe another state to race the Evo. Any extending driving with that thing would probably be slow, uncomfortable, and expensive since it probably gets like 10 mpg and would have to stop at many pumps. He drove it from that parking lot and out onto the highway to race the Evo. So it is capable of being driven around town. IMO, you cant determine it's a trailer queen from that short vid.

That Evo is pretty amazing. It took down a supercharged Cobra. That's no small feat.

Thumbs up Re: "that" Evo getting worked by a Camaro

yea, just because a car gets trailerd does'nt mean its a trailer queen. When I took my mothers bone stock '95 S351 to the track I trailered it. And when I finnally bring my bolt on LS1 to the track I'm going to trailer it. Does that make them trailer queens? 1 is bone stock and the LS1 T/A is my daily driver even in the harsh New England winters.is that a trailer queen? The cararo in the video may of been a trailer queen but may of not been either. The guy could of been coming from a good distance. And with 9 second cars theres a chance for breaking something everytime you race it. The guy could of possibly drove it there but what would he of done if he broke something? And he probally runs race gas. I run 118 octane with my car and that costs $7.50 a gallon. So it would of cost him alot of $$ to just drive there and back.
But its great to see that Evo get a reality check.
But I think Big red Jim is a closet EVO lover though because this is his 3rd post about the evo in the last couple of weeks.the first 2 had the evo winning.
Dude this is a camaro site were the vast majority love american muscle. If we were interested in that *** S*** we would join import related sites. I dont see my self ever joining one though.

I think you're a closet homosexual because you follow my posts so closely. I could be wrong.

In either case, I am a *performance* enthusiast. Fast is fast, and I don't much care how I get it or what car/bike/plane/etc is involved. There are plenty of other *performance* enthusiasts on this site - and they are in fact all welcomed per the user agreement.

Its not hard to see your posts. You have the titles to them the basicly the same way.And the site lists the thread starter. And I have a very good memory. Is it not true that you started 2 other threads about the same car?If anyone, I think your(not me) possibly the closet homosexual here because the way you talk about some other dudes car. Are you trying to make the Evo owner like you or something. It seems like your on his jock by the way your always touting about how fast his car is.
I like fast cars too but to make multiple threads about the same import that is'nt even yours on a camaro site seems odd. One post to show us the car and its peformance is enough. What are you going to start posting every race your buddy has on here?
The guy with the evo should take it to the track. Afterall thats where the big dogs run.Or does he just like beating up on peoples daily drivers with his high dollar mitsu.
I'm sure they have some heads up street legal classes at the tracks in his area. Theres one at my track and theres plenty of 8 second street legal F bodies, mustangs,Nova's,chevelles's etc. to put him on the trailer possibly even in the first round.

I'll be sure to run every post by you first to make sure it meets your standards, sir.

Here's an idea: if you don't want to see the same import multiple times (and you admit my posts are clearly titled) THEN DON'T ****ING OPEN THE POST!!! Simple concept.

On my way back from AC on the expressway earlier I saw a couple of tagged import cars on trailors. They were obviously using them on a track from the looks of things. I guess they were trailor queens too.
