Dang evo

well it happened i lost my first race in my car, now i have ran 03 gt, 5.0, turbo honda, and haven't had any problems, but i was on the freeway and a red evo passed by i thought to myself now this is going to be fun. so i get next to him and its on we both stab the gas and well we pulled me pretty hard . comes to find out hes got a twin turbo setup and bottle but never hit the spray kind of thankful for that. so now its time to do some more work..

he lied to you, simple as that there is no putting twin turbos on a evo

but dont get me wrong those things are fast, my two best friends had them , one had a 50 trim making 411awhp on pump gas and the other was a 2.3 stroker with a gt35r and 38psi on meth injection and pump gas making 535awhp

there is absolutely no point to put a TT on an evo... there are no kits for it plus that is just stupid, TT are mostly needed for V8s and up... either way a big single is way more efficient on a 4cyl

10-12 years ago when a twin turbo setup was tested for DSMs it was proven to be a waste of time. It drove fine but the complexity and expense outweighed any benefits.

Without a staggered setup - one small turbo and one larger turbo - a pair of turbos that make xxx hp will spool and drive the same as one big turbo that makes the same xxx hp.

My Subaru has two sets of 2 exhaust ports and while it was tempting to see if I could do two small turbos, in the end I'm glad Subaru has done the work for me by combining them all into one convenient spot where I'm free to pick the huge turbo of my choice. As soon as I replace the top mount bbq grill, er, top mount intercooler, I'll be ready for a real turbo.
