Thumbs up Almost 11's......

Dang, I almost got it tonight.

1.6441 60'
7.6283 1/8 ET
88.58 1/8 MPH
12.0141 1/4 ET
111.05 1/4 MPH

There will be a LT4 Hotcam / Stock Heads in the 11's this year!
I dropped it another .08 from the previous best.
The only thing different was I added an air-bag on the right side.
The car launches pretty straight now.

The other two runs were 12.15 and a 12.11 both were in the 110mph range. 60' were in the 1.69 and 1.70.

Question

Ken. What is your race Wt. Today I ran my car for the first time with a Vig 3200 stall. I ran 12.53 @ 109.14 on a 1.72 60' old best was 12.87 @ 106 on a 1.81 60' Anyway I think all my car has is maybe a 12.4 or 12.3 left. I was wondering if your race wt with you in it is comparable to mine. 3600 # These Hot Cams love stalls don't they.....

I have not weighed the car since Bowling Green last year. It was showing 3550 with me in it. Since than, I put on lighter wheels and added a cage, but the backseat was removed. Exhaust was totally redone.

I would put the car at about 3475, mainly to do with the wheels and some other weight savings stuff done to it. The car still has the interior - minus the backseat (not useable) right now. It has to be gone so I can haul my slicks to the track

Now my 60' is the key to it. If you can get yours down to where I'm at your ET would drop as well. I had doubts that I could pull the 60' down to low 1.6's but it's happeing now. Hopefully over the next few weeks I should be getting some suspension mods done to improve on that. Just have to wait on the funds to come in.

Talking

The only thing holding you back from 11's is the track you're racing at, the weather, and 60 ft. times.

You'll get them soon.. don't worry.
