Re: Cobra Kill!!!

first there was no 2002 cobra. ethier a 99 which had lots of under hp then should. and the 01 were like 270ish rwhp stock.
94-95 was stated corectly but the 240 hp is correct but is certainly under rated. they usally make like 225- 230ish rwhp stock. comparable to the 99 up gts.
they can usally run in the low 14'smid 14's stone stock.
the 96-98 were 305 hp. and would usally run 13.8-mid 14s.. really depends on driver.. they are tricky.
the mach 1 are just down right nasty. the usally run in the mid 13's to lowlow 13's.
forgot to mention 94-95 have stock gt/6cly hoods on them. and the 96-98 had the 2 nostrils on top.

I am fully aware of this. But within the body styles I cant tell much between years. Like 94-98 looks similar, 99,01,03,04 look similar too.

oh ok, I gotcha now. Yeah, I'm not sure of years within the different body styles.....I cannot for the life of me tell the difference between a '99, '00, or '01.

exactly right, and ps SVT did not make mustangs until 96, just for your info, so if it was a true svt, it could not be a 94

Psssttt... Just for your info: You're wrong.

Google can be you're friend:

Ford formed a Special Vehicle Team (SVT) in 1991 to create high-performance cars. SVT's first offering was the 1993 Mustang SVT Cobra. Their modifications resulted in 10 more horsepower and better handling. Later in the year they offered a race-ready Cobra R. The R had no rear seat, air conditioner, or sound deadening material to make it lighter. The wheels were black with chrome hubcaps. Only 107 were made.

Re: Cobra Kill!!!

94-95 had a stock GT hood. The 96+ had the hood with nostrols (sp) on it. And SVT started making Cobras in 93 ( which is by far my favorite cobra).

This is off topic, but I used to have a couple of neighbors who had a 93 Cobra R (very Rare) and a 94 (I THINK) Firehawk. They were both in their 40's and always were tearing *** around my neighbor hood. One of my first racing experiences was video taping them racing. I wish I still had that video but this was such a long time ago that it was on a VHS tape and I think the camcorder was as big as me.

The cobras were pretty weak until the 03 came out. I have ran into many different ones with my LT1 and usually I prevail. But, I have seen a 99 Blown cobra that was just plain sick.

No way in he!!, 99 up GTs would eat them alive...I think you might be referring to the 93 fox body cobra...They were more around the 260-270ish hp mark...they were underated, certainly not the 94-95's.

they can usally run in the low 14'smid 14's stone stock.
More like high 14's maybe mid..as to where a properly driven 99 up 2 valve will run low 14's high 13's
