Mach1's are just about as fast as lt1's are stock maybe a tad faster...

so if ur engine is tired it may not win but chances are if ur stock u'll stick w/ him...

less torque, the car weights more, wont have the high end that a stock lt1 will have due to gears.

here is the slowest mach1 speed ive found... looks like a bad run

2.375, 14.710 @ 96.69

the fastest stock i see is

2.038, 13.262 @ 105.78

which i will retract my statement, thats a slow 60 second time for a 13.2

here is what the auto gets

14.29_ @ 98.42 doesnt mention 60 sec time

 

On car-stats.com it says 13.8 in the 1/4. Personally the fastest(also the only one) i have seen on one was a 13.7x but i don't know if that was a stock one or not. His exhaust was pretty loud though.
But car-stats.com also says a 2001 z28 only gets a 13.9 so i don't know how accurate they are.

 

2001 z28's are like 13.2s

03 mach1 comparable to 98-02 F-body Ls1
99-03 Gt comparable to 93-97 f-body lt1
5.0 stangs comparable to 350 tpi 3rd gen F-bodys

 

mach 1s are comparable but theyre still a little slower than m6 fbody ls1s.

 

the mach 1 and ls1 i can see as comparable but the gt and the lt1? from all the ones i race its some what even throught the quarter mile but after that they tend to fade back quickly. just my .02
