Nice times and trap for a stocker . Your right about the 60's . I cant get my car to do any better then a 2.2 . W/out drag radials , I cant get my car to stick for nothing .

Thats about right . It should be able to pull this on street tires . Im thinking that TA should be able to run 12's easy w/drag radials .

2003 Mustang Mach 1 5 Speed
276 rwhp SAE, 305 rwtq SAE
Bone Stock
60':2.145
13.41@105.67MPH

2001 Pontiac TA WS6 6 speed
??? rwhp, ???rwtq
Bone Stock
60': 2.328
13.41@109.46

Do you have your whole slip around to compare times at the different intervals? Mine is:

R/T .071
60' 2.328
330 5.962
1/8 8.876
MPH 85.01
1000 11.341
1/4 13.413
MPH 109.46

Jess
mine went like this:

RT:---- .603
60': --- 2.145
330: -- 5.802
1/8: -- 8.767 @82.18
1/4: -- 13.411@105.67

You're trapping higher than me, but in this case, i would win at the track
of course on the street, you would kill me in the long run,but you would be playing catch up, and anything can happen.
that's why i said it's a driver race

Mach 1 Dyno

Ok.......here is a thread from one of the guys that got an 8.11 out of his Mach with slicks. He just dynoed his car

finally got around to dynoing my Mach1 today at speedtek.. I guess the numbers are ok I put down 290wrhp & 311wrtq but my air fuel ratio is all over the chart.
AT
3k rpm its at 15
3.5k -12.8
4.5k -12.4
then goes back up to around 13 @ 5K

The hole curve isn't very strait it's pretty shaky though all rpms... what does that mean? Is the car running to rich or what?

That's not an EX of a drivers race. That's a display of the worst driving I think I've ever seen in an F-body. Don't know what the F-bod had done, but those Machs definately weren't stock. And I'd also bet they had DRs of some sort. I just don't see someone leaving like they did on the street with radials.

But the kid driving the F-bod let both stangs get out 2-3+ cars right off the bat.

I guarantee if you put ME in a good running LS1 M6 with the same mods the Machs had (whatever they were), it would be a whole nother race. Not saying I'd "walk" them, but they sure as hell wouldn't be 3+ cars out, you can believe that...

Actually I would have won at the track due to R/T in a heads up race. (Even with your R/T on a .500 tree your out .103 vs my .071) Our local track here runs on a .000 tree vs a .500. On a .500 tree I usually cut pretty good lights too.

I know I can do a lot better. There was a puddle of water on the starting line when I got up there. It was horrible. All the FWD cars were driving right through the water and onto the line. My friends Brian and Bruce both picked up Mach1s and I will get to check them out in a couple of weeks. They live down in Florida.

Its a driver's race with the advantage to the LS1 M6 on the big end. Get out of the hole 1st and you'll win. If he gets out first stay in it till 120mph and you'll be passing him
