Your full of it , maybe with a damn good driver . A guy I seen run a 12.7w/a 1.960ft time . A sc cobra .
My friends LS1 w/a few hundred bucks in it ran NO NOS /NO CUTOUT 12.7w/a 1.9 also
after gears he ran a 12.4 , Lid , maf ends , Free ram air .

There are variables here . " Driver "
I go to the track every weekend all summer . Dont tell me . Like I said before , they are faster , a few tenths on average , 2-4 .

My Best friends ran a 12.9 w/2.0 "m6"

I was talking about tenths . Every tenth does not represent a MPH . Are we on the same page here ?

actually 1 tenth is VERY close to equaling 1 MPH so 5MPH should equal 5tenths(ish) if the driver can lay down the same 60' time. I dont know why people call the Cobra a "pig" when its only about 175lbs. heavier then the F-Body and puts out at least 60RWHP more than an LS1

I don't know what half of u guys are talking about. I ran one with intake, cat-back, and pulleys and we ran dead even till I redlined third he pulled about a car up until 110 but at120 I pulled 2 cars. I have very few bolt-ons compared to some of your ls1's. I have cat-back, slp lid, ls6 intake and thats it. THere may be something esle that I don't know about though. Don't hear any cams. MAybe gears. Anyways those things are fast as ****, but nothing compared to a z06, and a mildly bolted ls1 can keep up wtih one.

i wouldnt say "nothin compared to a Z06" when the average Z06 traps 114ish and the average Cobra at 111ish stock of course. Either you raced a HORRIBLE driver or your car has all the bolt ons and a cam. With your mods you shouldnt even pull on a STOCK cobra.

The thing is as somebody else put it mod for mod would technically be like putting a sc on a ls1. Now stock cobras run high 12's. A supercharged ls1 would run low 11's. Mod for mod cobra's faster? I think not!

you wanna get technical then??how bout we get a 5.4 block and stroke it to 5.7 liters to even it out then throw the rest of the cobra parts on it,up the boost to max allowable for both cars, then what happens??cmon lets be realistic here.

What most people seem to forget is that most races are won in the first 60'. Get you car to hook really well, and the guy next to you with 500HP could spin all day and never win. Traction wins.
