Another stang bits the dust...

So I'm on my way to Autozone to get a friend for lunch. I'm waiting at a stoplight nearby, and a mustang turns on the road the same way I was heading. The light finally turns green, so I hurried to catch him. Luckily, he got stuck at the next light. He revved it up a couple times, then the light turns green, I ate him off the line, and on through second, before I knew it 110mph, two cars ahead, and the zone on the left! I slow down, and make the turn into the zone, he follows. Come to find out, it's a 2000 GT with a cold air intake, MAF, and header back exhaust! He was shocked to see that I only had the cold air intake and muffler back exhaust! Another stang bits the dust!

I beat a new 3V GT at Cecil two weeks ago in the GN. He didnt look to happy when he got beat by a 21 year old six cylinder.

Good kill.

Tons of them, just not on this board ...Terminators and Mach 1's knock Ls1's off all the time.

That was only on 21psi and a bad launch. Best on radials is a 13.41. Best on M/T ET Street Radials is 12.76, with a 1.89 60'. And the car is still stock with a non-alky street chip. Should pick up alot more with my new DP, chip & injectors, and all the other stuff I have.

Im now running 23.5psi on pump gas/alky.

But yeah, without the turbo it would only be a 180hp six cylinder....

I test drove a Mach 1 before I bought my 95 Z bout a year ago...I personally thought the LT1 would tear it up, another reason why I bought it

A 5spd mach 1 will destroy a 6spd LT1 stock for stock...Dont let that low down LT1 grunt fool ya. Ive seen a number of mach's running 13.1-3's stock over on the registry. They just dont trap as high as 6spd LS1's.

The major problem with the mach 1 is that it has that hideous blue circle that labels it as a ford.
