96z28 vs 2004 Volkswagon R32

Well it was on the way to work this morning. He was in front of me and we were both merging on the freeway. I was in 3rd going about 45 or so waiting for him to punch it cuz i wanted to race one of those. Right when i notice him punch it(around 65mph) i punch it 2. He was about 1 1/2 cars in front of me at the start by the time i hit about 105-110 i had about 2 cars on him. It was a fun race. I slowed down to give the guy a thumbs up but he wouldn't get next to me for some reason and just wanted to stay behind me. Oh well. Short but sweet.

I have to find the motor trend issue that had a tuner version..OMFG it was badass..the company offers 3 choices..MotorTrend tested the 550HP twin turbo one..they recorded 0-60 in i think upper 3's..and it had a topspeed of 202 mph..all this on pump gas. Granted, its far from stock..and i think after all the mods it was around 55K or so..but still that is one VW i would hate to run into on the highway!

Sounds perfect....they are low 14's with a decent driver...you should kill him pretty good

that says that WRXs make 159 "to the hubs" horsepower. 159/222 = 71.6%. those AWD cars have nearly a 30% loss in power from the engine to the wheels?! That doesnt really sound right. I guess they would make that up in traction though.
