Could be wrong, but looked like the viper was toying with the Z... seemed like he pulled whenever he felt like it...

Listen to the RPM's ! Clearly the thing was winding out and the only time its position changed was when he was changing gears .
One again , I wonder about you .

He only pulled away when the LS1 hit the brakes cuz of traffic. Turn the volume up if possible, cuz you can definitely hear the viper winding it out.

That Viper was definately on it. There is no way he could just play with a LS1 on nitrous. Plus you could hear the rpm's like crazy.

That's an LT1 with a stroker motor, h/c, nitrous, etc etc... went over it on LS1.com; it's definately potent enough to run with that Viper.

Right, did you just LISTEN to the video, or did you actually WATCH it?

The viper was dead even with the Z then just took off like no one's business, then the Z hit the brakes.

No, he started pulling before the camaro hit the brakes... watch closely.

The Z had an open lane-- watch when he looks forward again.

The viper started pulling, and the Z shut down almost immediately to let the viper over once it started pulling..

And who was the camera car? That SS must also be bad if it's keeping up that well, but looking at the lines on the road, it didn't seem like they were going that fast.

Again, not trying to pick a fight, but the viper driver can't drive for sh*t either, he bounced rev limiter once, and looked like he missed a 2nd gear once.

Let me make something clear before you all start flipping out and bench racing and calling names, and throwing out stats, and 1/4 mile times, etc, etc.

I'm not saying the camaro isn't fast, as it clearly is, but perhaps the viper driver isn't the greatest?

I agree with you. It looked to me like the Viper started pulling on him. Fast *** Camaro though no doubt.

Tahke a look again, he only pulled on him when the camaro got off the gas. Watch as the viper pulls ahead, you'll notice the camaro is in the viper's lane and traffic is coming up in the camaro's lane. That shows the camaro slowed to get over. That viper went through a few gears and couldnt pull at all.

Oh I understand, but it looked to me like the Viper was creeping ahead and then all of a sudden the Viper was gone. (Due to the Camaro hitting the brakes)

Well regardless, they are 2 fast *** cars. Maybe someday a clearer rematch will surface.
