It does not matter how many posts I have here. We all started with just 1 or 40 in a month or 2. I respect ford, don't get me wrong however, I just can't stand how cocky their drivers can be.

 

i wouldnt exactly call the LS1 the "Big Dog" and as for the steroids comment about the supercharger and whatnot, thats just a stupid argument. Ford Drivers can say "well you guys have 5.7Liters" it can go on and on and on. there really is no point arguing about how great Chevy or Ford is....

 

You are right! In fact after it was all said and done, he did say that he has a smalller engine. I just don't like their cocky attitudes. So I guess I can say FORD_IMPORT_COCKY_DRIVER_HATER....lol.

 

yeah some of the cobra drivers not just '03-'04 can be very cocky, bot not all are like that

What year Camaro do you have and what are your mods?

Also a stock 94 Cobra will do much better than high 14s with a good driver. They are underrated from the factory. No match for a stock LS1 but an LT1 will not kill it. I have beaten near stock LT1s.

I happen to own a FORD and am not biased I love all performance cars but this is the best I can afford now and I got to make the best out of it!

 

Ford underated? More like overated. My camaro is stock, he was an alright driver as myself and yes he was cocky. After I stopped spinning I did leave him about 1 1/2 car lengths behind. If your not cocky, then thats cool on the other hand if you are, your going to have some problems.

 

Absolutely amazing. And sad. And infuriating. And stupid.

I currently own both GM & Ford and have owned a good number of GMs over the years so you better take into consideration that some people dont just die-hard loyally drive one brand of vehicle dude!

You need to take that car to the track and race out your frustrations instead of street racing....also the track will not allow the kids and wife to go down the strip with ya.

 

By the way ....to help out a fellow member Im gonna give you some advice.


Create yourself a signature listing the type of vehicle you own and the mods/times/specs you have to let people know.
Because as of right now I cant tell what you drive and thats important to the readers.

A well driven 6spd LT1 will kill a 94-95 Cobra stock for stock, Ive done it a few times myself (actually on hwy 35 in Neptune/Ocean Twp )..I believe your referring to the 93 Cobras, now there are underated from the factory, they actually put out somewhere around 275 hp...When I had a muffler ,cai, and 373's on my 97 I raced a buddy in his 94 Cobra that had more mods then me...yanked him everytime hard...Kid also had a fox that he ran up in Toms River so I would assume he had somewhat of a clue how to drive. Not trying to be a dick at all but im not sure if the LT1's you've beatin w/ your mods are in the proper running condition.

No doubt a stock LT1 is faster than a stock 94-95 GT but I've seen stock 94-95 Cobras run low 14s at around the same trap speed LT1s run at. I'm also not saying that my car is faster than an LT1 but that it is fast enough that driver error comes into play.

I beat a 95 Trans Am from a roll which I was actually expecting to lose to but I just pulled him from 2nd all the way through 3rd. I raced a 97 SS and he beat me but I had him til like 80-90 and that was from a dig. I also raced a 96 Z28 and was dead even with him from a roll. He had exhaust.

On a another night do you ever go to 37? I haven't been there in like a year because the cops are just all over the place.

 

I use to go w/ a buddy from here and sit at checkers and just chow on burgers and watch the cars blow by, and laugh at the imports @ rice castle next door ...as for the races anything can happen on the street...I currently dont own anything respectable enough to call a performance car due to a recent divorce and a layoff but that should change shortly. Yea the cops are all over,,even hear they are undercover in primered fox bodies so look out for them

 

This is going to take alot out of me....I admit that is was STUPID of me, running with the wife and kids in the car. I have NEVER done that before and will NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! I sit and think about the what if questions...I love my children and wife and will never put them in harms way, EVER! I'll post what I know about my car in my sig. I bout this car from a dealer, they do not know the history of the vehicle. The engine was rebuilt. I noticed a few things like an air foil and an aftermarket MAF. Thanks for all your imput on this topic. By the way Im not even 30 yet....NO EXCUSES THOUGH! I repect FORD or any car for that matter. I have learned alot here and will continue to do so.
