Yup wife and kids were in the car. I didn't want to but I was confertable with the terrain and was firmiliar with that area. I let off about 80 mph. I was yelling out the windows trying to convince him to opt out for a CHEVY.

 

Dont hold your breath, we all know its comming out in next years $75,000 c6 z06, I think a few folks would be pissed if the same engine came out a year later in a $30,000 car. If anything it will be probably be gettin a LS2 or a revised LS2 whenever or if it even comes out at all.

 

thats how it used to be in the past. The corvette carried the Lt1, so did the camaro. So did the ls1 camaro and corvette. Why wouldn't the new maro carry the ls7? Mayb a more tamed version.

 

Like people have stated, it would get the ls2, not the ls7. The ls7 is the 427ci, and it pretty damn pricey.

the ls2 is what is in the c6.

 

theres no 07 camaro. gm hasnt even released any info about this. that dealer was full of crap. no ls6 camaro. no ls2 camaro and certainly no ls7 camaro.

and props for racin with your kids in the car. workin on bein a real winner there.

 

Not gonna bash you or anything, cause I only seem to have people try and race me when I got the family with me, and it's soooo tempting, but you gotta resist the urge. Anything could happen....it's just not worth it. Plus a cop would really be p*ssed if you got pulled.

I think that the whole "buy a chevy", I hate imports and fords is a friendly competition kinda thing. Just like you'll see guys talking trash during football games on seperate teams then after the game they are good buds. I have a buddy with a Corba and I give him hell, but at the end of the day we're all friends. Most of the time when I hate a car its because of the owner's attitude. Example, raced a Mach 1, lost but the guy was great to talk to, didnt race an LS1 and he was the biggest a-hole to me and my friend. So I dont hate his ride, just him

If your talkin about the c6 LS2 vette your soarly mistaken. The 03/04 Cobras are a good run for them as they are now if not beat them...The GT 500 will anniliate them, some of you guys in this thread are talkin outta your *** gotta get your facts straight...1st we have a new camaro comming out w/ a LS7 now this

 

Lets just put it this way....STEROIDS (superchargers or turbos)! Thats about the only way they can compete with the BIG DOGS! Besides, this is a CHEVY forum.

 

Who cares how they get it done, as long as it is fast The GT 500 is estimated to cost like $40,000 right now...so it is also cheaper than the Vette. The new Z06 will outrun the GT 500 sure, but it will cost alot more too.

 

How do you what type of forum this is, you havent even been here a mth , most of us like and respect both stangs and camaros...and please dont start that ford needs a blower to compete crap...how about that mach 1, no blower just a stock dohc and it generally runs right w/ 6spd LS1's...newflash camaro is gone and the stangs are still going strong. Camaro is no longer competition for the mustang

 

I bet I know a N/A 4.6 that can compete with the "BIG DOGS."
