94 Civic

A friend of mine has a 94 Civic hatch which he had a JDM B16A DOHC motor and "GSR" 5 speed tranny put in. We raced the other day, and I romped on him, and he is still talking ****. There were 3 people in my car, and 2 in his, and he told the people in his car that from a dead stop he would just leave me. He is so full of ****, other than that motor all he has is a muffler tip which sounds like crap, and an ebay intake with a filter that he hasn't cleaned in like 10,000 miles atleast. He was behind me in the lane next to me, and I heard him get on it and I let him get up past the front end of my car, then I dropped into 3rd, and flew by him. Heh, Honda's suck!

Re: 94 Civic

My buddy used to have a '90 Integra which he put a B16 into, and he claimed that with a turbo they were ~14 or ~13 second cars. Well, I never raced him, but I was with his brother in a stock '96 TA (A4) and the Trans-Am smoked the Integra! (note: the quickest I've seen this TA run was 14.5 @ 97). SO, the B16 isn't all that impressive on its own.

Now, I did race an identical Integra to my friend's one time, except this guy DID have a turbo ... we were on the highway, and up to ~110 - 120 mph, the guy could pull not too bad, but I could still hold him off no problem ... beyond ~120, he'd run out of steam and I could easily put a huge gap between us.

Re: 94 Civic

For what its worth I raced a modded teg (not sure what was done but it was loud and had blue indiglo gauges )and only loss by a half a fender and he got a jump from a dig to about 70 last night...whoops forgot to mention I was in my 03 6 cyclinder chevy tracker 4*4 . Needless to say the guy was very embarresed and turned off immediatly. I couldnt resist yelling out "pitaful" while we were neck and neck.

I agree it's usually a waste of gas to give a Civic the time of day, but it's soooo nice to let some moron, with a huge mouth, who thinks his fart canned, riced out tin can with an intake is better than a domestic V-8.

Ahhhh i also feel so much better now
