wheelhopping issues
wheelhopping issues
ok i just put a moser 9in with 35 spline axels detroit locker and 4:11's.i also put a umi tunnelbrace adjustable torque arm with my pinion angle set to -2 degrees.now my car is wheelhopping ive tried changing tires, airpressure and ive tryed taking my rear swaybar off and that didnt help either so i put it back on.what would yall suggest to help with this? thanks joe
Double check that you set the pinion angle correctly, it's not uncommon for folks to set it up wrong. -2 degree pinion angle should have the driveshaft and differential pinion yoke pointing slightly down like a "V".
i got the same rear....i never had that problem, but i did install some control arm relocation brackets from spohn. they have them for the moser rear and they fit great, they are weld in brackets.
my friend had this problem and the brackets took care of it

Why take the rear SB off?? I allways thought the front one could be taken off for strip and weight reduction... But not the rear.. A thicker SB would actually help wheel hop, along w/ a straighter launch..
If you're car is lowered I'd strongly advise the LCA RLB'S. THe LCA's should be parallel w/ the ground or pointed down slightly (from the frame to the rear)..I have almost no WH w/ my RLB's.... Stiffer shox, would help too.
