Question traction control relocation

Today i have started with the instalation of a Paxton supercharger kit.
After removing the airpump and the airpumpbracket and some other stuff to make some space i noticed that the bracket of the SC interferes with the tractioncontrol unit.
The only thing that i can do is relocate the tractioncontrol, wich mean making some new brake lines from the ABS unit to the traction control.
What worries me is the fact that when i read the Haynes brakebleeding chapter.
It says: "do not atempt this procedure if your vehicle is equipped with the traction control unit as the brake system cannot be bled without the use of a tech-1 scantool".( what this device is doing during brakebleeding?)
What are my options in this matter, all sugestions are more than welcome.

Re: traction control relocation

Hi,
I wanted to do the LS1 brake upgrade and ran into a similar problem. Most likely you can do the move, but you will need to take the car to the dealer to have the system bled.
I once bled the system to change out the brake fluid, and it make the ABS light come on. I used one of those vacuum bleeders and worked my way to the bleeder units on the ABS unit and got it to shut off the light.
Let me know if you find out how much it costs to bleed it at the dealer.
Later,
James

Just my .02 cents.
I replaced my whole ABS unit.
And all I did was use a vacuum pump the one that you hook up to an air compressor.
All I did was vacuum one wheel at a time and as it was vacuuming I went and pumped the pedal twice on each wheel worked out great no problems and no lights on.

Re: traction control relocation

Well it took me about 2 months of sleeping and thinking it over but it worked out O.K.
The most scary part was to get the brake lines apart from the tractioncontrol and abs unit, there was used some kind of locktite .
After installing the new longer brake lines and the tc to its new bracket i have just started brake bleeding "old skool" style.
Al work was done with the battery out of the car.,and after first bleeding the abs unit then all the lines and after that the abs unit again it works out great, and no codes with the first testdrive.
So next thing will be the supercharger.
