C5 Brake Conversion Brackets

Is there a difference in the quality of the brackets that are available out there? I know of two: Speed Specialty and Kore. I know there is $200 difference in price between those two. Are their others? What's the consensus?

IM not sure about the differences between those two particular brackets, but the people out there that got the original Bob Bishop brackets will tell you that any bracket that isnt his bracket is a cheap knockoff that has no right to be on the market. They get a little testy They are right though in the aspect that his brackets are the best, but the others out there are good quality also though.

I've got UMI... the are good looking well designed parts although I have not seen Bob Bishops brackets so I can't compare workmanship or design.

Re: C5 Brake Conversion Brackets

Which came first, Bob Bishop's or Baer? They're both the same basic design, so which is the knock off???

The Kore brackets us the same material as Baer's kit. There have been problems with uneven wear due to the bracket flexing in competition uses, but if you're not competing then I wouldn't worry about it.

Are those Kore brackets finally off back order? They were on back order for 2 Months. I got tired of waiting and just upgraded my stock brakes.

I was pretty sure Baer had the brackets out for some time before Bob's kit came out.
