Stupid question...

My friend has a 03 SRT4. It is dropped, with sway bars, and tires. Those are his only handling mods. The car handles awesome I think.

I wonder what I would have to do to the Trans Am to make it handle like that? I already have a 35mm sway bar up front but that's it. I was going to do new shocks but I decided motor comes first :-).

But when I get it back I want to do some handling mods. I want it to handle awesome. Which will of course hurt my dragging experience but it'll have to do!

I want to out handle Vettes, Vipers, Supras, etc... can it be done?

Re: Stupid question...

Outhandle stock Vettes with suspension mods on your WS6? Possibly. Well, STOCK you can out handle a 1st and 2nd gen Vette.... The thing is, once a C4-6 starts modding their suspension you'll be left behind...given equal drivers.

Supras aren't known to be great handling cars. S2000 on the other hand is.

The SRT4 has less weight so in stock form it should handle better, let alone one with a modded suspension.

So you can make you car handle much better, but you'll never be like a modded C4-6, Viper, or S2000.

IMO, the best mod you'll make is the driver mod.

I was comparing the WS6 to stock cars... the only modded one was the SRT4. I kinda figured the other ones being modded would toast me. haha
