Squeek in rear of car....what might it be?
Well on the rear driver side I hear a squeek driving down the road. When I push on that quarter panel I can hear the squeek. What might it be?? shocks or bushings maybe??? Oh and the car has over 115K so everything is old.
Re: Squeek in rear of car....what might it be?
The most common squeak on my rear suspension comes from the rear springs. The springs sit on a metal perch that is attached to the rear end. There is no rubber isolator on the bottom. So when you go over bumps, the spring rubs against the metal perch and you get the squeak. After that i'd start checking all the rubber bushings on the LCA's, PHB, and exhaust hangers under there.
