Spohn LCA's
Spohn LCA's
My car is a DD (in spring/summer). I may race it a couple times but it is definately not a track car only. It puts out 440 RWHP and 500rwtq and I am going to do some suspension upgrades. will these LCA's be a good choice as far as noise goes,I want something ill benefit from but I dont want to hear every bump.
thanks
Phil

Re: Spohn LCA's
I have the poly/poly ended ones and they are pretty noisy. It doesn't bother me that much as the exhaust kind of drowns out the squeeky sounds. If you go with the mismatched ends, like poly/rod then I think you are suppose to get less binding and as a result less noise.
Re: Spohn LCA's
I have the Spohn rod end/rod end LCAs and I love them. They transmit more road noise than my old Hotchkis LCAs, but there is no deflection or binding. I think they definitely helped me do the 1.55 60's...Highly recommend!!!

Re: Spohn LCA's
If you've got "squeaks" with the poly ends, they need to be lubed. I ran the Spohn LCA's with poly/poly ends for 5 years and never knew they were there, never heard a squeak. Switched the to rod ends on both ends, and really didn't find themn all that annoying, but then the exhaust drowns out virtually anything.
