SLP vs. UMI 3 point weld-in SFC's

Hey all, just wondering opinions on which may be a better design. For one, don't look at my post count and assume I'm an idiot, or ignorant to any issues with these. I didn't use search because I know the UMI's are rather new. Also, I know that boxed (SLP) is essentially stronger than tubular (UMI) and blah blah blah, but I'd like some more input into them. Also, UMI is finished, so they are more directly ready to go...and so on. Any input other is appreciated. TIA

I think the UMI's look like a much better fitting system then the SLP. There is a quite a few guys over at ls1tech running them and really like them. I am happy with all the stuff I have from them.

Just my .02
After looking at all the sub-frame connectors I'm going to get the SLP's.
I'm going to call on this just to be sure but they look like the tuck under the car so you don't loose any ground clearance like others.
I was going to get the BMR's but you lose some clearance and I'm not too crazy about the round sub-frame connectors.
Plus they have a good deal on them at Speed Engineering.

It does kinda suck that they don't come coated but I have a powder coating place close by me.

The SLP's cause ground clearance loss, anyone running them can tell you that. Most of the two points don't. The UMI three points don't loose much either it seems many are impressed at how well they tuck, I think there worth the extra $20 and they come coated.

Ogg witch ones that are square don't make you loose any ground clearance?

I don't want to hit speed bumps.
I don't want to see them either.

The boxed style (mine) hang below the pinch weld about a 1/2", you can't seem then from the side on my vehicle since is a TA and has side skirts. I am pretty sure you can on a Camaro. My stock y-pipe hung lower then the SFC's so I do not consider them to loose any ground clearance. If you do not want to see them from the side I think your only option is tubular. Hearing what you want I don't think the SLP's are for you.
