OK guys so I've just started looking into the 24x conversion just bc.

What does the kit come with? I noticed the site has the reluctors and the sensors.
Is there a wiring harness needed?
I know you'll need the ls coils

Also I have a 97 so the stock timing chain cover etc will work?
It also says that with this conversion you can use an ls computer, does this mean anyone with ls software can tune an lt1?

As you can see..... no one seems to have done this, or willing to share info if they have.

I would recommend that you go to ltxtech.com ..... several people there who have done the EFI Connection install, and at least one person who is installing the new, competing system from Torqhead.

There is a detailed write up with pictures on the EFI Connecton 24X ignition system in the book "How to Build Max-Performance Chevy LT1/LT4 Engines" by Myron Cottrel and Eric McClellan. Published by CarTech 2012.

TPIS dyno'd this 24X conversion and showed 25hp and 25 ft-lbs increase over stock OptiSpark.
