Re: Please help - Need to raise rear
I use a jack to raise the rear end.
Seriously though, Eibach drag launch springs will raise the back of the car, I don,t know if it will be 2 inches though. Mine went up an inch maybe an inch and a half.
Air shocks will get you there but will hinder your traction capabilities (as in you won,t have any)

Re: Please help - Need to raise rear
Are you trying to raise it back toward stock? Or are you trying to raise it above stock?
I did the Eibach Drag Launch springs, and it only raised the back about 1/2". Enough though that I can run 28+" slicks with no problems with the upper parts of the wheel arch.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish with a 2" boost in the back? The AirLift airbag kit will help you raise it a little.

I still have the stock spring isolators.
Its hard for me to get the exact measurements.. I started with stock springs in the rear, installed Eibach Pro-Kits that dropped it an inch, then traded my stock springs to a buddy for his Drag Launch springs, and put those in. Its my best estimate that the back end only went up 1/2".
You can see the clearance in the back with 315/35-17 (stock diameter) tires.....

does that look like it might be up more than 1/2"????
With the 28" slicks, the gap gets smaller:

call sam strano at stranoparts.com, he can set you up with a custom spring for about 50 each, can get you any length you want, any compression rate you want, pigtails, non-pigtails...whatever.
if you're adamant on keeping your springs you have, go to any auto parts store and ask for spring helpers. they are big square bolts with a slight screw pattern to them. you put them against the spring and they twist into place and are locked in because they are square...i used them on my mustang and got about 1/2 inch. they just keep the spring from collapsing under pressure. they come in different sizes up to 3/4" i think, and anywhere down to 1/4. but your springs have to be compressed that far to keep them in place, mind you.
